Hello Third Grade Families,
Content Corner:
- Math- We are continuing fractions this week. Scholars will be taking a fraction test on Thursday.
- Spalding- We have 30 words this week and test on Friday.
- Reading-Read aloud 20 minutes each night and scholars are filling out the reading log. Make sure students are reading quality books- no dog man, etc.
- Literature- We are starting our new book, Trumpet of the Swan, this week. The poem, The Adventures of Isabel, will be recited on Friday, April 11th.
- Grammar- We are focusing on parts of sentences, fragments, and run-on sentences this week.
- Science-We are continuing to learn friction and have our Science Test on magnetism Wednesday, April 2.
