Quarter 4 Week 8

  Hello Third Grade Families,

Thank you for appreciating your teachers this week! 

Content Corner:

• Math- We are continuing to review addition and subtraction up to the ten thousands and hundred thousands place. Quiz on Friday.
• Spalding- We have 30 words this week. Spalding Test on Friday. 
• Reading-Read aloud 20 minutes each night and scholars are filling out the reading log. 
• Literature- We are finishing reading, Trumpet of the Swan. We are filling out the WONDER QUESTIONS each night, the booklet would be turned in on Thursday. We will have a seminar on Thursday and on Friday Test over the book. The study guide is in the green folder to review. 
• Grammar- We are continuing to learn about different types of poetry. No home connect this week. 
• History- We are learning about the Thirteen colonies. Science Test May 13th, science study guide is in green folders and should be reviewed each night for at least 5 minutes to be successful.

Updates and Events:

• Library books are going to be turned in. Please start returning them to your classroom teacher. 
• Spring Music Concert May 9th
• MAP Testing- May 12th and 13th
